After the success of the drill bit repair services performed by Obelisk, Khalda Petroleum Company (KPC) decided to have a trial run with repaired drill bits. Obelisk repaired 2 drill bits for KPC, the first drill bit was utilized, a 12.25″ drill bit. Upon comparing the Cost Per Foot (CPF) for the repaired with the other drill bits, KPC saves more than 20 % over the average CPF for all the other bits utilized.
