On the 17th of October, OPS and ClampOn hosted the first Technology Day in Egypt at the JW Marriott.

The event covered a wide range of topics of interest to Operations, Projects, Reservoir and Drilling professionals. Topics included sand management, corrosion and erosion monitoring, vibration monitoring and well collision detection. The event included a series of presentations by three of ClampOn experts as well as live demos on actual ClampOn devices.
More than 30 professionals from the major international and joint operators in Egypt including BP, PhPC, Shell, Rashpetco, Eni, Petrobel, PICO, Gemsa, Khalda, Agiba and TransGlobe as well as from EPCs, Engineering companies and service providers including PMS, Intecsea and OGS have actively participated in the event.

Following the event a series of meetings in Cairo and Alex were held with some of the main operators who were interested in discussing speicific applications of the ClampOn technologies to their operations.
